You already build your own workspace. This is the same instinct, one layer down.
Vivaldi is the browser for people who think the default layout is a starting offer. Vandle does for protocols what Vivaldi does for tabs: one window, everything docked where you want it, nothing hidden behind a second application.
Credit where it is due
Vivaldi's panels, tab stacks and sheer configurability make it the most genuinely customisable browser shipping, and it treats power users as the target rather than an edge case.
What changes
Four things you get that you did not have.
- A sidebar built on the same premise as your panels: persistent things pinned, throwaway things below, grouped in folders.
- One row per protocol per machine, colour-coded, so the layout tells you what a machine offers.
- A split view where each pane has its own connection picker, for transfers between two remote hosts.
- A route per connection, assigned once or inherited from the folder.
