This site counts page views, call-to-action clicks and downloads. It does that itself, on its own server, with no third party involved and no way to recognise you again. The single exception is the early access form, which stores exactly what you type into it.

What is stored

For each page view, click or download, one row is written containing:

  • the kind of event and the path that was requested,
  • the operating system family derived from your browser's user agent (for example windows),
  • the host name of the referring site, if you arrived from one - the host only, never the full address,
  • a campaign source, if the link you followed carried one,
  • the date.

What is not stored

  • No IP addresses. They are not written to the database at any point.
  • No tracking cookies. The only cookie this site can set is the session of the administrator after signing in.
  • No user agent strings. The user agent is read to derive the operating system family and then discarded.
  • No third-party scripts, pixels or analytics services.
  • No fonts from a content delivery network. Both typefaces are served from this server, so no request about your visit reaches anyone else.

Because none of the fields listed above identifies a person, the counting itself needs no consent banner. The one place where you can hand over something personal is the early access form, and that only happens if you type an address into it.

The early access list

If you enter your email address in the form at the bottom of the front page, this site stores that address, the operating system family derived from your user agent and the campaign source of your visit, together with the date. Nothing else - no name, no IP address, no connection to the counting described above.

It is used for one purpose: to tell you when a build is ready for you. There is no newsletter and no second list, the address is never passed to anyone else, and it is not used for any other kind of mail.

Write to office@qsp.app and the entry is deleted. You do not have to give a reason, and there is nothing left behind afterwards - the address is the row.

Server logs

The web server keeps operational logs, which by their nature can contain IP addresses. They exist to run and secure the service and are not used to build profiles or to feed the counts described above.

Downloads

Installers are served by this site, not by a third-party host. A download writes the same kind of row as a page view: platform, date, and which artifact - never who.
