Keyboard - Vandle help

Vandle can be used without the mouse. The keys below are the defaults; every one of them can be changed.

Which keys belong to whom

Ctrl+Shift belongs to Vandle. Window and tab actions live there.
Ctrl+letter belongs to the terminal. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+R, Ctrl+L reach your shell as they always did.
Tab keys such as Ctrl+Enter or Ctrl+S only act where the tab in front can do something with them. Anywhere else the key goes on to the terminal or the page.
F1 stays with a program in a terminal, because mc, htop and many terminal tools use it. Ctrl+F1 opens the help from there.

Copy, paste and select all are fixed and cannot be moved.

Remote desktop

A remote desktop keeps every other key for the machine on the other side, except the tab, layout and window keys you need to get out of it. See Remote desktop.

API, databases and dashboards

Files

Enter opens, Backspace goes up one folder, F2 renames, Del deletes and F5 copies to the other side. These are fixed.

Change a key

Open Settings with Ctrl+Shift+, and go to Hotkeys.
Click the key of an action, then press the new combination. Esc cancels.
If another action had that combination, it gives it up and Vandle tells you which one.

Reset all brings every default back. Some actions, such as the route and name diagnosis, have no key until you give them one.
